Impression d’ensemble : very well organised trip with knowledgeable guides, well behaved horses fit for trip which required them to be very fit and surefooted.
 
Les paysages : absolutely magnificent countryside, very diverse with mountains, forests, valleys and plains. We were in a beautiful Shangri-La.
 
L’intérêt culturel et historique : the guides, Kristina and Illir are extremely knowledgeable about the history of their unique country, its architecture, politics and social development. They brought us to wonderful historic buildings and explained their importance and they also shared fascinating personal insights into Albania and its people and customs.
 
L’intendance : everything very well organised. Kristina, Illir and their team make excellent arrangements and there is no problem, large or small, that they will not sort in a gracious way. The hotels, restaurants and picnics were perfect. The food was delicious, fresh and authentic. Wherever we went, we enjoyed warm and generous hospitality.
 
Les guides : first class in every respect! They do everything to ensure everybody on the trek has the best possible time: matching rider to horse, following fascinating trails, looking after their willing horses, ensuring excellent accommodation with delightful local hosts who serve delicious food and drink. Every detail is considered, they are super experienced guides/hosts but also still fun and enthusiastic. They know their country is special.
 
Les chevaux : lovely, strong and well behaved horses. All had good temperaments. Very well looked after. Excellent comfortable saddles, the tack in very good condition.
